Timenity
Uniting time across different timezones easily!
about
Timenity originated from my frustration of having all my friends scattered across the world and being unable to talk to them as easily. It was a big hassle in always having to calculate the time differences before being able to organise Skype sessions, and it got especially difficult for Skype sessions that involved more than 3 of us. Half the time one of us would get our timezones mixed up, and we'd have to reschedule everything again. As such, I thought of a tool that'll be able to help ease this, and in order to make it different from those simple timezone converters out there, this would be made specifically to make distant connections easier to keep!
UNIQ
A web browser concept.
about
UNIQ started out as a fleeting thought of completely customisable browsers. I remember when I was younger, all I'd use was Mozilla Firefox, and when Google Chrome first came out, I scoffed at it, swearing I'd remain forever loyal to Firefox. It all changed when I had to use a friend's laptop, and she only had Google Chrome—no Firefox!? I was aghast!—and of course completely disregarding Internet Explorer, I had to use Chrome. And it hit me. It was so … fast.
That got me thinking, of course, as to why we'd prefer certain browsers over others, and as such I set out to try and conceptualise a web browser which aimed to be not just everyone's favourite, but to be yours especially.
Below is the complete documentation of my process and survey responses, coupled with several ideas.
Here are the videos of four main "new" things I thought might be useful that current browsers (as of 2015) don't offer.

Having played around with code from the age of 11, I am well-versed in HTML and CSS, handy with jQuery, Java and GitHub, and familiar with libraries like Bootstrap. I intend to learn Sass and Ruby as well.
